Chowdhury Azimul Haque joined Biomedical Optics Lab in the Fall of 2022 as a Ph.D. Student. Before joining Ph.D., he had pursued his M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from Kookmin University, South Korea, and his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh.

His research includes Monte Carlo simulation-based photon propagation in biological tissues and its implementation in developing a wearable wireless optical sensor for continuously monitoring cerebral blood flow.
