Nasibeh Asadi joined Biomedical Optics Laboratory in the spring of 2025 as a PhD Student. She earned her Master’s degree in Physics with a focus on Optics and Laser from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran, where she also conducted research in microfluidics.

Her current research centers on developing non-invasive speckle contrast diffuse correlation tomography (scDCT) techniques to measure cerebral blood flow and oxygenation in deep brain tissues. Her work spans image processing, optical system optimization, laser speckle imaging, and advanced applications of scDCT.
