Dr. Guoqiang Yu (PhD), Assistant Professor in the Center for Biomedical Engineering, was recently awarded a 2-year R21 grant (1R21AR062356-01) from the NIH (NIAMS) for a project entitled, “Noncontact Diffuse Optical Assessment of Pressure Ulcer and Therapy”. This study is a multidisciplinary effort involving collaboration with Dr. Sara Salles (MD, Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) and Dr. Karin Swartz (MD, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery).
