Dr. Yu Shang, postdoctoral scholar in Biomedical Optics Lab (PI: Dr. Guoqiang Yu) at the Center for Biomedical Engineering, was recently awarded a two-year postdoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association (AHA) for a project entitled, “Development of Diffuse Optical Spectroscopies for Monitoring Cerebral Blood Flow and Oxygenation in Mouse Stroke Model”. This study is a multi-disciplinary effort involving collaboration with Drs. Michal Toborek (PhD & MD) and Lei Chen (PhD & MD) in the Department of Neurosurgery.
