Pegah Safavi is a Ph.D. Student at the University of Kentucky. She joined the Biomedical Optics laboratory as a Ph.D. student in the Fall of 2021. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Radio Medicine Engineering from Islamic Azad University(science and research branch), Iran. 

 Her research focuses on developing a wearable wireless optical sensor to continuously monitor cerebral blood flow and oxygenation in different subjects (mice, piglets, preterm infants).
