Fatemeh Hamedi is a Ph.D. student at the University of Kentucky and joined Biomedical Optics Lab in the fall of 2022. She got her master’s degree in Photonics from Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. Her bachelor's degree is in Optics and Laser Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University, Iran.  
She is currently working on speckle contrast diffuse correlation tomography (scDCT)  of cerebral blood flow and oxygenation in deep brain tissues. Her research includes image processing, design, and optimization of optical setup, laser speckle imaging, and scDCT.
